The 3 little pigs

So earlier this year I signed up for Armand Serrano's Environment Sketching for Production at CGMA, and I am soooo glad I did. I learnt so much over the 9 weeks,  the best part was learning creative new ways to approach environment designs. The course was full of knowledge and ideas on how to take a simple sketch through to production and all the little things that make a environment have story, my little mind was blown. But also watching an expert sketch sketch and build an enviroment with the lasso tool, blew my mind.
This is my final piece from the course, I focused on the story of the 3 little pigs, and this is the stick hut design.
I have a lot of development work I need to sift through but I promise to post some soon.

If you haven't already, you can check Armand Serrano's work out here: Armand Serrano

Wow, I love the detail that you put into this work and the lighting is so beautiful. That's an interesting twisted tree too.

Thanks Samantha! It was a tricky balance to find colours that worked but didn't make the scene look too scary! Autumn was the perfect month!

This came out great. Love the lighting in this. I definitely want to take this class now in the fall. It looks worth it.

Thanks Ian! This class was amazing at understanding and perfecting values, which was a stage I've been rough with in the past. And getting the values right made colours so much easier, and it helps Armand is the nicest guy!
